my first tart
well...in a manner of speaking!first fruit tart!
This is easy, I used plum and green apple, arrange slices on a pastry/pie crust that has been baked blind for about 5 minutes (prick with fork before baking blind). After you arrange slices, sprinkle with a mixture of a tablespoon of sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. Bake for about 10minutes until edges get golden brown, then remove. Place on a cutting board or a rack to cool and stop the cooking process. At this time heat a couple of tablespoons of apricot jam in the microwave, then brush over the top of the tart while still warm.
Enjoy! A bit of cream or ice cream goes along nicely!
